Our lovely Foxes have been learning all about the story of 'Owl Babies' this week. In Literacy, we looked at how to hold a pencil/pen using our 'Nip, Flip, Grip' method. We have been singing number songs in our Maths lesson, and learning all about the season of Autumn in our Understanding the World lessons. In PSHE this week, we have been discussing our emotions and how we have felt about school.

During our exploring time, the children have been consolidating their learning in the following activities:

    - Role playing as the 'Owl Babies' and 'Owl Mother' in our Owl Babies tuff tray

    - Using their fine motor skills to cut and stick Owl Babies' puppets

    - Exploring paint and different materials to make their own 'Owl Babies' pictures

    - Looking at pictures from the story and seeing if we can recall what happened

    - Exploring water play

    - Building sand castles

    - Getting creative in the Nature Kitchen with some autumnal cooking
