One more week to go in Deer Class!

This week we’ve been busy getting ready for our leavers’ assembly, which is shaping up to be absolutely fantastic, it’s going to blow your socks off!

We also had Transition Day, and it was lovely to hear how excited the children are about moving on to their new schools.

We have finished our DT topic on moving pictures in picture books. The children used their knowledge and skills to create a wonderful moving picture inspired by The Three Billy Goats Gruff.

In maths, we explored rounding, really solidifying our understanding of how numbers can be rounded to the nearest ten and hundred.

In English, we continued our work on The Koala Who Could, diving deeper into the story and its themes.

And in science, we rounded off our butterflies topic with a thoughtful evaluation sheet, reflecting on everything we’ve learnt.

It’s been a really positive week in Deer Class!
