In Maths this week, we have been exploring time. We have learnt about o'clock and half past. The children all showed brilliant understanding of reading and showing the time to o'clock and half past, paying careful attention to exactly where the hour hand needs to be. We then created our own clocks using split pins! Well done Owls!

In English this week, we have been exploring acrostic poems. We started the week looking at a seaside acrostic poem. The children then wrote their own seaside acrostic poem, all of which were very impressive!

In Science, we explored the life cycle of a fish. We learnt new vocabulary such as fry, larvae and juvenile!

We also had a P.E session linked to the Paralympics. We imitated Paralympic shot-put by using our bodies to glide on the floor and throw a beanbag in a hoop. It was an interesting P.E session and helped our Owls to understand how we can be more inclusive in a diverse world!
