A very hot and testing week Owls! Our lovely children have worked tremendously hard during our heatwave this week! In English, we have been learning about the book 'Storm Whale'. We then wrote a newspaper report about a boy who found a beached baby whale!

In Maths, we have continued to learn about money and recognising coins. We have even been adding up money!

For our D&T lesson, we have been carefully designing and planning our seaside sliders. We will be using these designs for our lesson next week when we have a go at creating one! Watch this space!

In Science, our lovely Owls went into our Bluebell Woods this week. We then observed different trees and compared their leaves. We then had a go at making a leafy rainbow! Well done Owls, you have really done well this week!
