Good afternoon everyone!
In the run‑up to the summer holidays, we’ve been busy and hard at work in Deer Class.
In English, we have been compiling facts ready to write our non‑chronological reports on the fascinating creature, the axolotl. The children have loved discovering unusual and surprising facts about them.
In maths, we have been learning all about movement, position and directional language, which has linked beautifully with our maps topic this half term.
Our Careers Day was a resounding success, thank you so much to everyone for your kind donations and support.
In science, we have started a new topic on butterflies. We now have our very own class caterpillars, and we will be observing them closely as they transform into butterflies over the next few weeks. It’s already generating lots of excitement and curiosity.
It’s been a wonderfully busy week in Deer Class!
