Owl Class have had an action packed week!
This week in Maths we have been learning about recognising and finding half of shapes and amounts.
In Science the children used their shoeboxes to experiment 'which habitat do woodlice prefer?'. The children had sand, soil, leaves and sticks in their shoeboxes. They then had to find a woodlouse and predict which habitat it would choose! A wonderful way to bring Science to life!
In Forest School this week, we continued to learn how to keep safe in our Bluebell Woods and find lots of different mini beasts! We also had the opportunity to create potions using natural materials such as old flower petals.
In our History lesson, we have been learning about Mary Anning and her life dedicated to finding fossils!
In English, we have been developing our knowledge and understanding of adjectives and using them for our descriptive writing.
