    Linked to our topic of 'People Who Help Us', Foxes have been learning about the role of the Police force in our society. Our book of the week was 'Cops and Robbers' by Janet and Allen Ahlberg. During our learning time, we have been discussing the importance of having police officers, how they help us, as well as looking at how the police force has changed over the years. In maths, we have continued to explore the number bonds to 10 and used different objects in the classroom to find various ways of making 10. We have carried out some fantastic learning during the exploring time, listed below;

    -Exploring police dress up and role-playing the role of a police officer

    -Exploring 'Bubble Dough' with our fine motor skills

    -Building our very own police stations with Lego, Stickle Bricks, and building blocks

    -Developing our gross motor skills to create our own obstacle course!

    -Learning how to move in different ways during our Gymnastics sessions

    -Practising our number formation

    -Using our phonic knowledge to label different parts of a police officer!
