I hope you all have a well rested and lovely Easter break ahead. Deer Class has certainly earned it. We’ve had a wonderfully busy and exciting final week of term!

As many of you saw, we shared our fantastic Easter assembly. It was such a joy for the children to showcase a little of what they'd been learning. We hope you enjoyed our rendition of Hot Cross Buns on the chime bars, along with the children’s beautiful watercolour still life paintings of daffodils.

In maths, we’ve been transitioning from 2D to 3D shapes, getting hands on with real objects to explore faces, edges, and vertices. The children loved investigating the shapes in a practical, playful way.

We also created some lovely Easter cards in art. The children were incredibly proud of their designs and can’t wait to share them with you.

In science, we’ve been growing watercress in different environments to explore how plants respond to changes in their surroundings. The children made thoughtful predictions and are excited to continue observing the results after the break.

Wishing you all a restful, joyful Easter holiday.
