We had a fantastic day celebrating World Book Day. The children all came to school dressed as their favourite book character and took part in our school parade. Later on the children worked very hard on their World Book day drawing and writing.

In History this week, we explored toys from the past through a range of sources such as books, first hand observation of toys from the past, videos and photos. This week we also had a mysterious delivery of a letter and a story from a wolf who wanted to share with us what actually happened to Little Red Riding Hood. We then held a debate to discuss whose story we believe... The Wolf or Little Red Riding Hood.

In Maths, we have been practising to read, write and estimate numbers to 50 as it will be key for future maths learning! We have also been completing part whole models using dienes.

This week in Art, we created a colour wheel from a range of different textured collage materials!

In Science, we have been observing our sunflower seeds. We have been learning key words such as germination! Good work!
