This week in Deer Class, we’ve had a lovely end to the first half-term of 2026!

In English, all of our non‑fiction research into crocodiles has paid off. We’ve gathered everything we’ve learnt into a fantastic fact file in our books, we’re now crocodile experts!

In Maths, we’ve been developing our problem‑solving skills through multiplication and division word problems, rounding off our topic beautifully.

On Wednesday, we enjoyed our Science Day! This year’s theme was colours and rainbows. Throughout the day, we took part in different experiments across Fox, Owl and Deer Class. Making slime was definitely a highlight.

In Art, we created pop-out, heart-shaped Valentine’s Day cards.

It’s been an action-packed week to finish the half-term. I hope you all have a wonderful break!
