This week in Owl class, we have been learning about 2D and 3D shape in maths. We have been sorting 2D and 3D shapes in different ways based on their properties. We also created models with 3D shapes and identified 3D shapes that can roll, stack or roll and stack. Our book of the week has been 'After the storm'. We read about Pery the Park keeper's problem of a tree being blown down. We decided to plan and write our own stories for how Percy may help the animals who lived in the tree, find a new home. In PSHE, we discussed ways we can be a good friend. In Science, we learnt about classifying animals in to groups of birds, mammals, amphibians, reptiles and fish.
