Wow! What a week Fox Class have had! Not only have we completed our Nativity plays, but we have learnt so much about Christmas. We have been learning about the festival of Christmas and how it is celebrated throughout the world. We also had a brilliant discussion about how people who may be from different backgrounds still celebrate Christmas and all the different activities we do during the festive break. The children have been mastering their skills in cutting, sticking and creating beautiful Christmas trees. In Maths, we have been subitising and mastering our counting skills. For Literacy, we have been learning how to write our names and our family member's names in our Christmas Cards. In our PSHE sessions, we have been learning about giving to others who are in need. During our Oracy session, we have been developing the skills of speaking in front of others and building confidence.
This week, our Foxes also got a change to decorate our class Christmas tree. We had some soft Christmas music playing in the background. It was a wonderful chance for our Foxes to bond and make special memories in their first Christmas at Jordans. A magical session.
Well done Foxes!
