This week, our lovely Foxes have continued their learning on Transport with a focus on air and water travel. We have been very busy in our Literacy lessons, labelling different parts of a plane! In Maths, we have been sorting shapes into different groups. In our Understanding the World session, the children went on a walk and observed how our seasons are changing. We even collected some natural objects to use in our tuff tray! In Gymnastics, we have been learning about stretching and warming up our muscles before starting any physical activity. We were lucky to have Miss Pye taking part in our Oracy session this week where she got to meet lots of famous authors at a reading event!

We also carried out the following child-led activities:

-Reading and exploring non-fiction books linked to Transport

-Developing our listening and speaking skills in our Oracy sessions (Pics and Tell)

-Using construction to build transport models

-Enhancing our small motor skills to create our very own boat!

-Developing our gross motor skills and made a boat outside with our friends! Land Ahoy!
