  • Friday 17th October

Deer Class loved making (and eating!) healthy sandwiches in their science lesson this week. They designed, assembled and evaluated their tasty snacks. There were lots of smiley faces that morning!

In maths, we have been using Base 10 equipment to help us add a one-digit number to a two-digit number. This involved combining ones to make sticks of ten. The children worked with a partner to solve the addition problems.

We were gathering 'autumn treasures' in Forest School. Everyone loved finding particularly beautiful leaves, acorns and conkers. The children then discovered that painting with mud is so much fun! They also mixed green potions in a Halloween themed activity.
