We are continuing our study of The Snail by Henri Matisse. Deer Class used sponge printing skills this week to create their artwork.
In the Bluebell Woods the talk was of the autumn equinox. The children made necklaces of autumn leaves, had a tea party with some cuddly woodland animals and shaved elder sticks to make wands.
Deer Class wrote some wonderful descriptions of the settings and characters in The Snail and the Whale. They used some excellent adjectives and adverbs!
