What a hot week it has been! However, the Foxes have shown their amazing resilience throughout and have continued to enjoy their learning all week. This week in our Literacy, our book of the week was 'The Fish With a Wish' and we have been fishing out Tricky Words from the ocean and reading them. In Maths, we revisited our learning on Doubles, and looked at halving too. In Understanding the World, we have been exploring different creatures that live under the sea.
We have been consolidating our learning with the following activities:
- Exploring different sea creatures in our Under the Sea tuff tray
- Using our fine motor skills to make split pin sea creatures
- Noticing different patterns in order to complete Under the Sea-themed puzzles
- Making predictions on different World Cup scores
- Water play
- Under the Sea calm colouring
- Going on a Rainbow Walk in our Forest School
- Expanding our creativity and imagination when using blocks and Lego with marine life
-Enhancing our phonic knowledge by writing the different sea creatures on the whiteboard
- Practising our hula hoop skills
