This week in Deer Class we’ve been consolidating lots of our previous learning and building confidence across the curriculum.

In English, we’ve been focusing on spelling, grammar and punctuation, as well as practising our reading comprehension skills.

In maths, the children have been revisiting a wide range of topics, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, time, money and shape. It’s been a brilliant chance for everyone to show how much they’ve remembered.

We are also still working hard on learning all of our country dances ready for Dropmore School, and the children are getting more confident with each practice.

In topic, we have delved into Florence Nightingale’s later life, exploring how her work continued to shape modern nursing. In RE, we have been learning about Buddhist temples and why they are special places of worship.

As usual, we have had a busy week in Deer Class!
