This week, we have started our new topic of 'Terrific toys'. We have started the topic though looking at our favourite toys. 

In Art we have started to explore collage. We looked at collage artwork by the the artist Kurt Shwitters. 

Over the next few weeks we will be learning about tradition tales in English. This week we our book of the week has been 'Little Red Riding Hood'. We have created story maps of the story which we then innovated in to a new 'Little Red Riding Hood story'. We wrote our stories in a mini book. 

In Maths, we are focussing on numbers to 50.

In Science, the children have planted sunflower seeds to observe the growth of a sunflower. 
The children are very excited to see their sunflowers grow over the coming weeks!
