We’ve had such a full and exciting week in Deer Class, and we’re so proud of everything we’ve been learning and creating.
We’ve been busy gathering lots of non‑fiction facts about crocodiles. All this brilliant research is helping us get ready to create our very own crocodile fact files at the end of the unit.
Our multiplication and division topic has continued, with a special focus on dividing by 5 and 10. We’ve been working hard to spot patterns, use what we already know, and feel more confident with these skills.
Charcoal has been our new adventure this week. We experimented with this bold medium to create striking crocodile drawings — and the results have been wonderful.
Our habitat dioramas are now complete. Each one shows so much creativity and understanding, and we loved bringing different environments to life in miniature.
We’ve been exploring the British Isles and comparing what life is like in different places. It’s been fascinating to think about how people live here and how life might look somewhere else.
