Maths

This week in deer class we have been continuing with the theme of multiplying, we used ladybirds to illustrate how numbers can be doubled. The children challenged themselves with some larger doubles too!

English

In English this week we have been focusing on writing in the first person as characters from The Enormous Crocodile. We have also created our own riddle to do with our favourite food, inspired by The Enormous Crocodiles riddle about eating small children!

R.E

In R.E we have been discussing the Harvest festival and why it is an important milestone for Christians to celebrate. 

Gymnastics

This week in gymnastics we have been looking at what makes a good and safe roll as well as making some of our own!

Art

In art, we have learnt how to trace and transfer Quentin Blake's illustrations in preparation to paint them next week!
