It has been the first week back after the Christmas break and it has been wonderful to get started on our new topic; Our wonderful world. We explored the different continents and oceans of our world and identified them on a map. In Art this week, we explored the painting 'Surprised' by Henri Rosseau. The children then painted their own version of the painting. In maths, we have been practising to use a number line to solve addition and subtraction word problems. We ended our week with going for a walk around our school to look for signs of Winter!
