Deer Class have transformed into the characters from the Nativity story! We have been rehearsing our lines and singing catchy songs in preparation for next week's productions.

The children will be making Christmas Tree baubles next week. They will design them and then make them using coloured felt pieces stitched together. On Tuesday we learnt how to sew using running stitch and over stitch. It was a bit tricky, but we all succeeded!

Since learning about Samuel Pepys and his diary, the children have been fascinated by the fact that Pepys wrote with a feather! So this week we did likewise. Everyone enjoyed this lesson. Some of the children incorporated their joined handwriting skills into the activity.
