This week in forest school, the children explored the signs of Autumn in the forest. The children used the autumn leaves they found to make leaf necklaces, leaf printing in play dough and an autumn treasure hunt. In D&T this week, we were evaluating different dips. We evaluated the appearance, texture, smell and taste of dips such as guacamole, salsa and raita. In history we explored the history of castles. We created a chronological timeline of castles. In computing we used the iPads to draw self portraits. We tried out using the different tools available such as an eraser, paint brush and fill.
