2018 -2019 Fox- Reception
Welcome to Fox - Reception!
July
this week we had a visit from two parents. One gave us a music lesson and one, who is a Clinical Dental Technician, taught us about the importance of looking after our teeth.
Bike and Scooter Day
We had a great time riding our bikes and scooters on the playground, learning how to keep safe and have fun! Thankyou Mr Key for all your help.
We had such a great time at Pizza Express learning to be chefs and making our own pizzas!
What a super Science Day! We learnt about digestion, caring for our environment, our lungs and keeping fit and healthy.
We had a great visit to Green Dragon Farm.
Spring 2
We are enjoying learning about The Gruffalo. We also ordered sticks in the woods, made and flew wind socks and ate pancakes!
Spring 1
We are really enjoying learning about dinosaurs and hope you like our paintings.
We celebrate the ways in which the children are learning and their attitudes towards growing their brains! We talk about these Characteristics of Effective Learning by giving each one an animal. Here are some photos of our Go for it Gorillas, Persevering Parrots, Concentrating Crocodiles and so on. Each animal has a song that we have made up too. Can you remember it?
We had fun at CCC for their Winter Sports at the end of November.
We had fun measuring our bears using objects from around the classroom. We also love building and having pretend camp fires outside.
We have learnt so much already and have had a lot of fun together.
